Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role requires perioperative nursing experience and an active RN license in Illinois. You will provide patient care through the nursing process, maintain safety, and collaborate with the OR team.

The position is 40 hours per week on a day shift pattern for OR operations, with occasional weekends and on-call per cycle, within a Magnet teaching hospital network.

Qualifications

• Must complete an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills; adaptable and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in the OR using nursing process and established standards.
• Lead efforts to ensure a safe environment and the best patient experience across the perioperative continuum.
