Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the WellStar Shared Governance Model.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or diploma; bachelor's preferred.
• RN licensure and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family using bedside shift reports, rounds, and timely teaching to align with goals.
• Maintains practice standards and collaborates across disciplines to ensure safe, high-quality care.
