Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (FT) for the Medical division on a 3:3 day schedule. The RN provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care and collaborates with surgeons and anesthesia to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates are graduates of accredited nursing programs, hold a Texas RN license, and can obtain ACLS within 3 months. Strong communication and hospital experience are preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse’s license in the State of Texas
• ACLS required within three (3) months of hire.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English required
• Prefer hospital experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase based on established standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and anesthesia care team to support patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and quality of care through performance of nursing duties and ongoing education.
