Job summary

USPI St Joesphs Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking an RN OR Circulator PRN to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. This role supports perioperative care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety, proper documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

The position requires RN licensure and operates in a team-driven ASC environment, with responsibilities including medication administration and adherence to perioperative protocols.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in the operating room setting preferred.
• Ability to participate actively in perioperative planning and care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients at intervals per policies and procedures.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Implement the plan and protect the patient from injuries and infection.
• Perform counts to prevent retained foreign objects.
• Ensure correct site, side, and level of procedure.
• Administer medications appropriately.
• Communicate patient status across the care continuum.
• Document nursing care and collaborate with the team.
