Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to assess patient needs, plan and delegate care, and execute physician orders in a peri-operative setting. You will evaluate patient responses and remain accountable for outcomes during your shift.

Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with current licensure; peri-operative program completion or surgery experience; BCLS, ACLS and PALS (within provisionary period).

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School Of Nursing with current licensure.
• Successful completion of a peri-operative program or previous surgery experience required.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification required (must be completed within the Provisionary Period).

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Execute therapeutic physician orders and nursing interventions.
• Evaluate patient responses and progress toward outcomes.
• Be accountable for patient care outcomes during the shift.
