Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking an RN in Surgery Outpatient to identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs, and executes therapeutic physician orders and nursing interventions.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of Accredited School Of Nursing
• License, Certification and/or registration: Current nursing Alabama or multi-state Licensure. BCLS required (must be completed within the Provisionary Period).

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plans and delegates care based on patient needs.
• Executes therapeutic physician orders and therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes.
