Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• One year of recent perioperative nursing experience required.
• Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse required. BLS certification within 30 days. CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, provide, document and evaluate care.
• Assessment: conduct ongoing data collection and establish nursing diagnoses.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver care.
• Delivers care to patients per plan and administers medications.
• Maintains infection prevention protocols and patient confidentiality.
• Participates in program evaluation, readiness reviews and regulatory compliance.
