Job summary

Sullivan County Community Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in Surgical Services. The role involves perioperative assessment, planning, and execution of nursing care in the operating room, including circulating or scrubbing for procedures and post-anesthesia recovery.

Strong English reading/listening skills are required. Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing degree and either a perioperative course or documented on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Graduate of a formal perioperative nursing course or documented on-the-job training.
• One year clinical experience preferred.
• Circulating and/or scrubbing duties experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan perioperative patient care in the operating room.
• Implement nursing care per plan; scrub/circulate for procedures.
• Post-anesthesia recovery monitoring and documentation.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
