Job summary

Landmark Medical Center, Inc. in Woonsocket, RI, a 214-bed acute care hospital, invites an experienced Staff RN to join its perioperative team. The hospital is known for safety and patient-centered care, serving northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts since 1873.

As a Staff RN in the OR, you will partner with surgeons and anesthesiologists, lead nursing care for diverse patient populations, and participate in performance improvement initiatives to ensure smooth patient flow and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting using nursing process.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist; supervise OR staff as needed.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing; participate in performance improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a continuum of quality care.
