Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on the job training
• CNOR Certification (AORN) preferred
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and guide OR staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure patient flow and quality care.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
