Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Perioperative/Pre-Op/PACU care on a full-time, onsite basis. Days shift, 80 hours per pay period. Prior acute care and perioperative experience preferred, with BLS required and CPAN/CAPA as a plus.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of Colorado (RN)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• At least 2 years of acute care experience; Pre-op/PACU experience preferred
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid through start date

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process at top of scope
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes
• Prioritize wellness and patient-centered care with evidence-based practice
• Precept and mentor new staff and students as applicable
• Support a fast-paced perioperative environment with safety at the core
