LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Operating Room RN to join our surgical team. You’ll work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to deliver safe, high-quality care before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, monitoring vitals, administering meds, assisting with positioning, documenting care, and educating patients and families. Days shift. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Operating room experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and care for patients throughout the surgical experience.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, assist with positioning, and perform assessments.
• Complete clinical documentation and post-operative assessments.
• Monitor for pain, complications, infection, and healing.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to promote safe, efficient patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
