Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality perioperative care across several specialties. You will assist anesthesia during induction, position patients, ensure surgical counts, and uphold patient safety through time-out checks and debriefs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a circulating Operating Room RN.
• Experience across multiple specialties including Robotics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Neuro, and Orthopedics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist anesthesia during induction and patient positioning.
• Coordinate and verify surgical counts with the scrub technologist.
• Lead time-outs and debriefs to support patient safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout the perioperative experience.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, scrub technologists, and nursing staff.
