Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver safe perioperative patient care across multiple surgical specialties.

The role requires 1 year of OR circulating RN experience, residency in Texas, and ability to assist anesthesia, position patients, and maintain documentation. Teamwork and strong communication are essential in this collaborative perioperative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a circulating Operating Room RN.
• Experience across multiple specialties including Robotics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Neuro, and Orthopedics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers during induction.
• Position patients for surgery and coordinate surgical counts with scrub technologist.
• Lead time-outs and debriefs to promote patient safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout the surgical episode.
