Qualifications

OR/perioperative, PACU, or procedural nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Serve as circulating nurse and advocate for the patient throughout the case.
Verify identity, consent, procedure, site marking, positioning, allergies, implants, equipment, and documentation.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, surgical technologists, sterile processing, PACU, and support departments.
Monitor patient condition, communicate concerns, and document counts, medications, implants, specimens, and events.
