Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN-OR) to provide perioperative nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases. The role involves circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of procedures, while upholding infection prevention standards and patient safety in collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care, comprehensive documentation, and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with perioperative/OR experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
• Thorough knowledge of infection prevention, safety standards, and sterile practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and quality improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver perioperative nursing care from pre-op through post-op.
• Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical procedures.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety protocols, and sterile technique.
