Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN license (PA or Temporary RN Practice Permit) required.
• CNOR preferred; BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: 2 years perioperative experience preferred.
• Clearances as required by State and Federal Law.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing process to provide age-specific perioperative care.
• Maintains aseptic technique and ensures patient safety in OR.
• Documents perioperative records and counts accurately.
• Communicates progress and issues to the coordinator or manager.
• Ensures patient privacy and follows safety policies.
• Directs non-licensed staff and participates in delivery of care.
