Job summary

The Surgery Center of Ft. Lauderdale, operated by United Surgical Partners International, is seeking an OR/GI Manager (RN) for a full-time role at our Ft. Lauderdale facility.

The position requires strong perioperative leadership, oversight of OR, anesthesia and sterile processing, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and vendors. RN licensure and BLS; ACLS and PALS within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Five years of nursing experience.
• Three years of operating room experience preferred.
• ASC / HOPD management experience preferred.
• Current OR RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Establishes effective relationships with patients, physicians, staff and vendors.
• Coordinates equipment and supply needs for cases with materials manager.
• Uses data to improve customer satisfaction and staff involvement.
• Works with Administrator to meet Facility goals.
• Oversees surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
• Assists as RN Circulator when needed.
• Participates in staff interviews and performance evaluations.
• Maintains professional behavior and models best practices.
• Ensures appropriate personnel, equipment, and supplies are available.
