Job summary

The Surgery Center of Ft. Lauderdale is seeking an OR/GI (RN) Manager, full-time, to lead perioperative services.

This role coordinates equipment, supplies, and case needs with the materials manager and collaborates with physicians, staff, and vendors to ensure high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate has an OR RN license, 5 years of nursing experience, and preferred 3 years in an operating room; ASC/HOPD management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates in nursing from an approved nursing school required.
• Five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Three (3) years of operating room experience preferred.
• ASC / HOPD management experience preferred.
• Current OR RN license.
• Current certification in BLS - ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees and vendors.
• Coordinates equipment, supplies and case needs with materials manager.
• Oversees surgery, anesthesia and sterile processing services.
• Assist as RN Circulator as necessary.
• Evaluate quality and performance improvement measures.
• Lead perioperative staff and participate in staff interviews and evaluations.
