Job summary

The Surgery Center of Ft. Lauderdale is seeking an OR/GI (RN) Manager, full-time. The role focuses on coordinating perioperative services, overseeing surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing, and collaborating with physicians, staff, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure with 5+ years of nursing, 3+ years in the OR, and ASC/HOPD management experience; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire are required.

Qualifications

• Associates in nursing from an approved nursing school required.
• Five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Three (3) years of operating room experience preferred.
• ASC / HOPD management experience preferred.
• Current OR RN license.
• Current certification in BLS - ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment, supplies, and staffing for perioperative cases.
• Oversee surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
• Serve as RN Circulator as necessary.
• Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives in perioperative services.
• Participate in staff interviews and performance evaluations.
• Ensure availability of personnel, equipment, and supplies.
