Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Perioperative Business Manager to drive business operations for Perioperative Services, collaborating with nursing, surgery, cardiac surgery, anesthesiology and sterile processing to improve profitability and efficiency.

You will develop reports and dashboards to measure performance, support strategic planning, and lead initiatives with the Surgical Authorities Committee and Value Analysis Committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health professions, business administration, public administration or other suitable field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare electronic systems.
• Minimum 2 years experience in business, contract negotiations, purchasing, and data analytics related to budgeting and finance.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual budget development for all Perioperative Services areas.
• Develop, monitor and control purchasing plans within budgets.
• Coordinate staffing, operations and capital budget planning.
• Lead data dashboards to enable data-driven decisions and strategic planning.
• Serve as liaison among Surgical Medical Staff and facility departments.
