Azza HealthCare Agency seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for a high-volume Level One Trauma Center. You will oversee perioperative services, lead a surgical team, and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and active RN license required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred 5-10 years and some supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking abilities.
• Experience in perioperative or surgical settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of 30-35 direct reports, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate patient care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and medical treatments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Handle staffing needs, monitor productivity, and oversee departmental operations aligned with leadership goals.
• Participate in budget development, monitor expenses, and respond to operational changes affecting departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and foster a collaborative, high-quality work environment.
