Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Current RN license (state unspecified) or eligibility for licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Must interpret operational and financial data to drive optimization and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for perioperative service lines.
• Oversee budget development and management, staffing and scheduling.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation readiness and cultivate interprofessional relationships.
• Lead system-wide optimization initiatives, including block schedule design and utilization analysis.
• Evaluate and implement technology and workflow solutions to improve efficiency.
• Partner with surgical leadership on block time allocation based on utilization data.
• Identify opportunities to expand outpatient and ambulatory surgical capacity.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, competency validation, and retention strategies for nursing staff.
• Maintain on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage models to meet demand.
• Chair or co-chair the Perioperative Executive Committee and represent perioperative services in committees.
