Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's in nursing, business, healthcare administration or relevant field of study required.
• 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing operations and department performance and metrics.
• Supports strategic initiatives through quality initiatives that promote safety, civility and mitigate bias.
• Develops and updates performance improvement tools, reports, fiscal status and quality statistics.
• Resolves patient complaints in a timely manner in accordance with policy and collaboration with support staff.
• Establishes and implements policies and procedures and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Manages department budget and resources and understands organizational financial processes.
• Represents OU Health nursing and collaborates with senior leadership to ensure quality patient care.
• Fosters an inclusive workforce and develops staff through coaching and feedback.
