Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's in Nursing preferred.
• 3–5 years of demonstrated leadership experience required (Charge Nurse, Educator or similar).
• Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma with residency within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for clinical care and departmental performance and metrics.
• Supports strategic initiatives through quality initiatives in patient care delivery.
• Develops and updates performance improvement tools, productivity reports and quality statistics.
• Resolves patient complaints in a timely manner in collaboration with support staff.
• Establishes and implements policies and procedures; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Manages department budget and resources and understands financial processes.
• Represents OU Health nursing in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Fosters an inclusive workforce and coaches staff to achieve metrics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
