Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale is hiring a perioperative RN to work as a circulating nurse or scrub person. The position supports a wide range of specialty surgeries and requires solid patient advocacy in a high-demand environment.

Mandatory OR/surgery experience in hospital acute care and active Florida RN licensure. Association with AORN and CNOR certification are preferred; BLS/ACLS current are required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• State of FL Registered Nurse license.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS (current).
• CNOR certification (Perioperative Nursing).
• Member of AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses).
• Bonus exclusions may apply per HR-004-026.
• Three years of related OR/surgery experience in hospital acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates as circulating nurse or scrub person in multiple specialties.
• Assists in establishing and promoting clinical standards for surgery service and staff education.
• Supports patient care objectives and operates in a high-intensity environment.
