Job summary

Qualifications

• Uses the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families per practice level.
