Job summary

Hudson Hospital & Clinic, part of HealthPartners, seeks an experienced RN for perioperative care in the Surgery Center and Procedure Center. Responsibilities include admission, first and second stage recovery, and monitoring patients under moderate sedation for GI/endoscopy procedures and biopsies.

The role is 0.8 FTE with day/evening shifts and call requirements. Minimum qualifications include WI RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PACU/ER experience; PALS must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current WI RN license.
BLS & ACLS certifications required at time of hire/start date.
PALS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.
One year of recent PACU/ICU or ER experience.

Responsibilities

Care for patients in the Surgery Center and Procedure Center, including admission and first/second stage recovery.
Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation for GI endoscopy, pain procedures, and image-guided biopsies.
Provide ongoing observation and monitoring through perioperative phases.
