Saint Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Surgery Nurse to prepare patients for procedures and provide exceptional nursing care in the operating room, focused on safety, advocacy, and evidence-based practices.

You will collaborate with the surgical team, develop care plans, ensure OR readiness, and support a compassionate, high-quality perioperative environment. Education benefits and professional growth opportunities are available.

Formación

• One year medical/surgical, intensive care or telemetry experience.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Arizona (AZ).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist surgeon and surgical team in the OR.
• Care for patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Develop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patients.
• Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients.

Conocimientos

Medical/Surgical experience

Telemetry experience

BLS certified

Strong communication

Educación

Arizona RN license

BSN (preferred)
