Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Perioperative 101 Program in the Mainland/City operating room. This full-time role partners with physicians to coordinate inpatient, outpatient and community care, guiding assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

Ideal candidates hold NJ RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS/HCP; ACLS preferred. The job emphasizes teamwork, clinical application proficiency, and adherence to professional standards within a high-demand OR environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• BLSHCP required.
• ACLS preferred.
• 1-3 years nursing experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members; ability to be flexible, set priorities, solve problems and use proper judgment in difficult situations.
• Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to implement the plan of care.
• Lead patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation activities.
• Document actions and communicate with clinicians; ensure adherence to standards and policy.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and professional growth.
