UAB Medicine is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician to support the anesthesia laboratory in perioperative settings. You will perform and report results for moderately complex procedures on body fluids and work across lab and operating room environments.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in a related field and MLT certification within 13 months of hire. A benefits package and sign-on considerations may apply for eligible full‑time hires.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree required; related field accepted.
• MLT certification from ASCP or AMT within thirteen (13) months of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Perform, check accuracy and report results of moderately complex laboratory procedures on body fluids.
• Assemble, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance and quality control checks on anesthesia laboratory equipment.
• Assist during procedures and operate and monitor equipment as needed.
