Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Materials Management professional for the Brecksville Health Center to coordinate perioperative purchasing and inventory processes. The role focuses on ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Materials Management Information System and supporting computer-assisted purchasing and patient charge systems across the department.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Sciences/Business or 4 years of combined procurement and/or materials management experience.
• Two years of experience in a materials management setting with knowledge of requisition to disposition and computerized purchasing/inventory systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong problem solving, mathematical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Implement, coordinate and ensure operational effectiveness of all material management activities for the Perioperative Department.
• Coordinate computer assisted purchasing inventory and patient charge systems where appropriate.
• Monitor compliance with safety, sanitation and quality control requirements.
• Maintain the Materials Management Information System.
• Uphold the mission, vision, values and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
