Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Brecksville, OH is seeking a Coordinator- OR Materials-Supply Chain to oversee material management for the Perioperative Department. You will coordinate purchasing inventory, align with patient charge systems and ensure safety and quality compliance.

This role requires an associates degree or 4 years’ procurement experience, strong customer service, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Experience with Lawson or ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Sciences/Business or 4 years of combined procurement and/or materials management experience.
• Two years of experience in a materials management setting with knowledge of requisition to disposition and familiarity with computerized purchasing/inventory management.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong problem solving, mathematical, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Implements, coordinates and ensures operational effectiveness of all material management activities for the Perioperative Department.
• Coordinates computer assisted purchasing inventory and patient charge systems where appropriate.
• Monitors compliance with all safety, sanitation and quality control requirements.
• Maintains the Materials Management Information System.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
