Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-op and post-anesthesia patient care in a surgical setting.
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support patient preparation for surgery and post-op recovery.
• Collaborate with RNs, anesthesiology, surgeons, and perioperative teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and surgical protocols.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
