The role includes exposure to Pre-Operative, PACU, and CPE patients, with a Magnet Designated status reflecting high performance. Qualifications

• BSN required and Massachusetts RN licensure mandatory.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative float coverage across Pre-OP, PACU, and CPE.
• Educate patients and families about care plans during a vulnerable period.
• Collaborate with perioperative teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Demonstrate strong observational and prioritization skills.
