Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Perioperative Float Nurse in Jamaica Plain, MA to support patients in pre-operative and post-anesthesia care. The role offers per diem scheduling with flexible start times and works at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN and MA RN licensure, with BLS/ACLS. PACU experience and ASPAN CPAN/CAPA credentials are preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred.
• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in Pre-Operative, PACU, and CPE settings.
• Educate patients and families about their plan of care.
• Participate in Major Holiday Call Rotation.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exhibit basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
• Show observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
• Adhere to ICARE standards.
