Job summary

Requirements include BSN preferred; 1 year of related nursing experience; BLS; RN license in state or compact; ACLS and PALS (PALS for CHILDREN's only); orientation and annual competencies are required. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• ACLS within 30 days of hire
• PALS within 30 days of hire for CHILDR...N’s only
• RN license in state of employment or compact

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Educate patients and families; identify learning needs and resources.
