Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center in Arizona is seeking a Perioperative Educator RN to lead OR education and onboarding. This role focuses on developing education activities for the Perioperative department, serving as consultant and leader, and coordinating orientation for new staff.

The successful candidate will have an ADN, RN license in Arizona, and OR experience; CNOR and Nurse Educator background preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred.
• Previous operating room (OR) nursing experience at a tertiary teaching hospital is required.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) and Nurse Educator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, implements and organizes education activities for the Perioperative department.
• Serves as consultant, facilitator, change agent and leader.
• Coordinates orientation of new and transferred staff with ongoing education materials.
• Supports department quality initiatives and analyzes outcome data; communicates findings and actions.
