Job summary
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Charge Nurse for full-time, three 12-hour shifts (8:00a–8:30p) with weekly call and occasional weekend requirements in the New Albany area. This front-line leadership role coordinates care on designated shifts and supports staff in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
The ideal candidate will hold an Associate degree in Nursing, be a licensed RN in Indiana, and have BLS; ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
Qualifications
- Requires Associate degree in Nursing and Indiana RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Act as a resource nurse for the unit and provide leadership on designated shifts.
- Coordinate care and staffing fluctuations; respond to departmental concerns and staff issues.
- Provide direct patient care alongside the team and coordinate patient flow during shifts.
