Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Charge Information Auditor in the Perioperative Services Administration Department. This role focuses on daily charge and revenue capture operations, reconciling records and ensuring accurate billing across the EPIC/OpTime and Patcom systems.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, at least 4 years of billing/audit experience, and can navigate CDM codes, Cypress reports, and the eCDM workflow to support hospital finance and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of experience in billing/audit or related field.
• Experience with hospital billing and CDM codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient records to surgery schedule and verify charges.
• Audit hospital billing records vs perioperative services records for revenue compliance.
• Enter patient charges in EPIC/OpTime and maintain CDM data in eCDM.
• Review daily Cypress reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Perioperative Purchasing for billable items and pricing changes.
• Assist internal and external auditors during audits.
• Maintain on-site paper records and manage monthly transfers to off-site storage.
