Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Charge Information Auditor for the Perioperative Services Administration Department. The role involves charging and revenue capture, working with EPIC/OpTime and Patcom to ensure accurate billing and coding for perioperative services.

Responsibilities include reconciling records to surgery schedules, validating charges against invoices, and coordinating with the Purchasing and Records teams to maintain compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of experience in a related role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient records to surgery schedule.
• Verify chargeable items and coding (HCPCS, C-codes).
• Enter charges into EPIC/OpTime and Patcom systems.
• Review daily reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Perioperative Purchasing for billable items.
• Maintain paper records for twelve months and manage off-site transfer.
