Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Charge Information Auditor for the Perioperative Services Administration Department to support daily charge and revenue capture operations. The role involves reconciling records, entering data into EPIC/OpTime and Patcom, and ensuring accurate charging across systems.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of experience, with strong knowledge of billing codes and CDM processes.

Qualifications

• Reconcile patient records to surgery schedule.
• Knowledge of billing summary codes such as HCPCS, C-codes.
• Calculate charges from acuity records and enter into the EPIC/OpTime system.
• Review daily Cypress reports and report discrepancies.
• Audit hospital billing records for revenue compliance.

Responsibilities

• Enter implant information in the EPIC/OpTime system when applicable.
• Maintain on-site paper records for twelve-month period.
• Work with internal and external auditors during audits.
