Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing patient for designated procedure
• Accurately obtains vital signs as indicated and documents on chart
• Maintains and cleans equipment
• Maintains traffic control and cleanliness in Pre-op/Post-op area
• Provides emotional support and reassurance to patient and family during perioperative stay
• Communicates patient status to coworkers as needed
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
