Job summary

The candidate helps with patient transport, specimen handling, and maintaining a clean, sterile environment throughout procedures. Responsibilities include aiding in OR setup, following hospital policies for chemicals and sterilization, and supporting nursing staff with post-procedure tasks,

Qualifications

• High School education with 6 months to 1 year hospital patient care experience.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and understand medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical tasks and position patients under RN/surgeon guidance.
• Move equipment and prepare operating rooms for procedures.
• Transports supplies, specimens, and patient items between OR, PACU, SPD.
• Monitor sterile fields and assist with end-of-case cleanup.
• Respond to codes in OR and PACU, maintain equipment.
