The Peri-Operative Assistant provides direct patient care support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while assisting with various peri-operative and surgical support functions. This position plays a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive experience for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities include patient admissions, transport, discharge support, sterile setup, instrument processing, chart preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized surgical environment. Additional duties may include assisting with medical records, supporting anesthesia and nursing staff, and providing departmental support as needed.
