Job summary

Mercy in Wisconsin is seeking a Surgical Support Associate (Full-Time, Days) to support perioperative services. You will assist with patient care activities, OR preparation, equipment maintenance, and department operations, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other team members to promote safe, efficient, and high-quality care.

No prior experience is required; a High School Diploma is required. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire; CNA may be required based on location.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire; CNA certification may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized patient care and support safe perioperative care.
• Help with operating room preparation, turnover between cases, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and healthcare team to optimize patient care and workflows.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed to support daily operations.
