Job summary

Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Coordinator to manage patient flow between pre-op, OR, and post-op areas. You will partner with anesthesia to schedule cases and coordinate staffing for daily workload, serving as a clinical resource and coach for staff.

The role emphasizes quality improvement, policy development, and active participation on department committees to enhance OR performance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 2 years applicable perioperative experience.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow between pre-op, OR and post-op.
• Manage daily case schedule & assignments with anesthesia.
• Coordinate staffing and day-to-day workload.
• Serve as a clinical resource and staff coach.
• Improve OR efficiency and safety.
• Lead selected quality/performance improvement projects.
• Participate in department committees and policy development.
• Represent CVOR on hospital and system committees.
