Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking an experienced PACU Manager to lead PAT, Pre-Op, and PACU teams in a high-performing ambulatory surgery setting. This role blends hands-on clinical expertise with strategic leadership to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

You will oversee nursing practice, collaborate with physicians and leadership, and drive quality, patient experience, and financial performance in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Virginia.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 5+ years of clinical leadership in perioperative/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Lead PAT, Pre-Op, and PACU daily operations.
• Ensure nursing standards with AAAHC and AORN guidelines.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate PAT, Pre-Op, and PACU staff.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Oversee pharmacy functions, inventory, and payroll for direct reports.
