Provides nursing assistance under supervision in PACU, Preop, Endoscopy and Same Day Surgery, with a focus on patient care across perioperative services. The role requires a High School diploma, active nursing program enrollment, at least one medical-surgical rotation, licensure/certification, and preferred CNA credentials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently enrolled in a professional or practical nursing program.
• At least one medical-surgical clinical rotation required.
• Licensure and/or Certification required or preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with nursing care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• PCT/Student Nurse is accountable for assigned aspects of care within their scope of practice.
