Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA seeks a CNA & Nursing Assistant for Per Diem, variable shifts (5a-10p). Salary range is $19.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Provides nursing assistance under supervision in PACU, Preop, Endoscopy and Same Day Surgery, with a focus on patient care across perioperative services. The role requires a High School diploma, active nursing program enrollment, at least one medical-surgical rotation, licensure/certification, and preferred CNA credentials.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently enrolled in a professional or practical nursing program.
• At least one medical-surgical clinical rotation required.
• Licensure and/or Certification required or preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance with nursing care of patients as needed under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Services Department and regulatory agencies. ThePCT/Student Nurseis accountable for the aspects of nursing care they are directed to provide within their scope of practice.The PCT/Student Nursewill be providing patient care in various areas within Perioperative Services including PACU, Preop, Endoscopy and Same Day Surgery.
